On-Site SPED Service Support
As we see COVID-19 cases beginning to rise again with the onset of the flu season, and as Gila County has still not passed ADHS benchmark metrics, Liberty High School will remain open for remote and distance learning only (online and correspondence). There will be no hybrid scheduling of in-person learning. Liberty will provide on-site service support for SPED students. Other on-site student support will be provided as deemed necessary with permission of the School Director under consultation with teachers.
All employees, visitors, parents, and students entering the school office must follow COVID-19 safety protocol posted at the school office entrance. All parents of students receiving on-site support must call the school office on the day of attendance to complete a symptom check over the phone and escort the student into the office to clear a temperature check.
Liberty High School remains committed to the educational needs of students by providing dual online support through Liberty teachers and our online platform tutors. We have added two new opportunities for social-emotional support and future career and family planning as noted on the parent survey; an SEL block of online electives for 2nd semester and our community liaison, AZ Youth Partnerships virtual program for 2nd quarter, Loving My Future. Liberty will continue to provide "consistent" learning routines through our current model during this pandemic.
Students: Continue your completion of assignments to earn credits for high school graduation. Do not let yourselves fall behind. Take advantage of communication with Liberty teachers and online platform tutors. Let's all persevere!
